Welcome to the March newsletter!
General Updates
Customer Service email
A friendly reminder that when receiving emails from the Customer Service team, we ask that responses are sent in a timely manner. We know how busy you all are, so if you’re unable to assist with a request, you’re very welcome to send a short and sweet email declining the request. This helps ensure clients aren’t left waiting.
LinkedIn - LinkedIn – My Mirror
We’re so proud of the incredible network of contractor psychologists who are part of My Mirror. If you feel comfortable, we’d love for you to add My Mirror as a place of employment on LinkedIn. To make it easy, we’ve included a simple step‑by‑step guide to walk you through the process.
Work Development Orders - Work and Development orders / Permits – My Mirror
We’ve received requests for psychologists who can support clients on a Work Development Order (WDO). If you’re currently registered and interested in working with this client group, please reach out to the Clinical Team. For those who are not yet registered but would like to explore this option, additional information is available on the Psychologist Hub.
Across Australia, WDOs/WDPs are legislated fines‑hardship schemes that allow eligible people to work off unpaid fines through approved activities (such as treatment, counselling, courses or unpaid work) instead of paying money, under the supervision of an approved sponsor who applies for the order and reports participation to the fines authority.
Mental Health Review Report - My Mirror Annual Mental Health Review – My Mirror
We are releasing our first national Mental Health Review Report!
This report is the start of some of our upweighted marketing and communications to align with our snazzy new strategy! The report positioned as a public‑interest, research‑led data release rather than a marketing asset. That approach is both AHPRA‑compliant and aligned with how we want My Mirror to show up in the ecosystem - clinically excellent care that is reliable, scalable, and highly valuable to partners
Sonder Extension Updates
Just a quick reminder that as outlined in the email sent on 26/02, there has been a change to the number of extended sessions available through Sonder.
This has now been reduced from 6 and only up to 2 extended sessions can be applied for moving forward.
Court Reports
We have had a recent increase in requests for court reports, of which there are three main categories - Family Law, Criminal or Forensic and Civil / Personal Injury reports. There are now detailed guidelines on the Psych hub for writing court reports at this link. Please review these guidelines and let us know if you would like to opt in to being available for these types of reports, and please specify which ones you are qualified for.
